Lucy  |  3.5 years old, American Staffordshire Terrier  |  Adoptable

Lucy grew up in an abusive home where her nose + jaw were broken and she had teeth removed so she wouldn’t fight back during mating. She was also used as a bait dog. Despite all of that she is a total sweetheart.

This is really melancholy, I think this dog is incredibly cute, but it pains me to know how she got that way. Fuck animal abusers. Someone give this dog a home. 

Humans can get FUCKED. This girl looks so precious. Hope she has found the sweetest home and that her abuser gets what they deserve.

In even bigger news, Rolling Stone wrote an article about a famous punk singer who just came out as a trans woman and it doesn’t fuck up the terminology and in the whole article uses the right pronouns.

Meanwhile, MTV also used the proper pronouns and the Wall Street Journal DID NOT.
